Trekking: day 2

We got up about 7am and had a big breakfast together. After breakfast we headed out. We walked down the mountain through lots of villages. We saw lots of different animals that the local people raise to eat. There were chickens, goats, cows, and buffalo. On our way down, we did stop at a small shop and ended up visiting with the shop owners family. He had the sweetest, cutest 3 year old little girl, made me miss my niece so much. We took pictures with his mother, I think that made her really happy. While we couldn't communicate well with her, I could tell by her face. She was so sweet and gave Ida and I a good squeeze. It actually was perfect that we stopped because it had started raining but by the time we were ready to go, the rain had stopped and the sun came out. On our hike back, Niraj also pointed out to us some of the locals making the wine that we had tasted the night before, which was really cool, sadly I didn't get any pictures of that. It was about a 3 hour hike down the mountain. We took a bus from there to a town and had lunch there. The fried chicken here is soooo good! From there we were picked up and taken back to our hostel. We relaxed the rest of the day.

Very common site, especially in construction work. People would carry all kinds of stuff in these baskets.
